Helicopter is a high-street label from Reykjavík, Iceland. The focus of helicopters designs is comfortability and individual style. The clothes, being very minimalistic in colorcombinations and shapes, give a good possibility for accessorizing and making the garment your own. Easy to dress up and down the garments are good for both everyday and evening use.

Helga Lilja, the designer of helicopter, graduated from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2006. She worked as an assistant designer for one of Icelands biggest clothing brands Nikita for three years.

Milla Snorrason is a young label by Hilda Gunnarsdóttir who graduated from Iceland Academy of Arts in 2009. The AW2012 collection is the designers own interpretation of Reykvikian aesthetics. Comfort, quality, femininity mixed with lightness and a bit of carelessness.
The prints on the silk tops and pants come straight out of the city landscape of Reykjavik, inspired by the architectural heritage of the State Architect Guðjón Samúelsson. His rigid lines were the basis of the prints. Reykjavik’s harbor was also an inspiration and can be found on the print of Milla’s tee-shirts. The designer’s real obsession; creating visually pleasing, a bit quirky, quality garments that portray an ease of being. Comfort and lightness is key, coupled with strong color combinations and perhaps in it all a sense of carelessness.

VÍK PRJÓNSDÓTTIR is a creative brand that designs and produces quality products from Icelandic sheep wool; a unique and sustainable source. Its combination of fibers results in a wool that is warm, light-weight and water-repellent.

VÍK PRJÓNSDÓTTIR is inspired by myths and stories, from the past as well from the present. She is fascinated by nature as well as urban life, believes in the beyond and respects the hidden world. Vík Prjónsdóttir has passion for local cultures and production.

REY was founded in spring 2009 by designer Rebekka Jónsdóttir who graduated in 2008 from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles, with a major in Fashion Design.
During her time at FIDM, she interned with Rodarte and later worked for the label on various projects.
Inspiration for REY’s collection comes in part from nature but a major part from the fabrics and yarns themselves.

She will only be seen in the dark. She is a magician of picture and light. She exists in many dimensions. She is visceral contemporary dance. She is studying the subtleties of your behavior.
